Needed to Talk
“My husband and I have been in a slump and the [Refreshing Your Marriage] speakers touched on some subjects that we really needed to talk about and opened the door for us.”

Needed to Work
“We were headed to divorce but after Refreshing Your Marriage we realized we needed to work on communication. RYM gave us a new way to connect and date each other and fall in love all over again.”

Refreshing Your Marriage conference is not a place where you’re asked to share intimate details of your relationship with anyone. It’s not a large group counseling session or small group discussion. Instead, you’ll hear solid, applicable content from marriage experts, then connect with your spouse in a guided workbook to practically apply concepts you’ve listened to. This all takes place in a fun, non-threatening, guy friendly environment.
1
Feel like something is missing in your marriage? You will be challenged to enhance your intimacy with one another.
2
Is your relationship out of balance? Learn how proper pace, priorities & balance can dramatically change your marriage.
3
Having trouble communicating well? You’ll be given steps to improve both verbal & non-verbal communication.
4
Not having much fun in your relationship? Rediscover how much fun can be found in a friendship with your spouse.
5
Ever feel like you’re not on the same page? Find out how defining proper expectations will save you from unnecessary frustrations.

Here are answers to some of the most common questions about the RYM conference. Whether you’re wondering about registration, scholarships, childcare, or whether this event is right for you and your spouse, this FAQ section is designed to help you feel informed and confident as you plan your weekend with us.
Are scholarships available? How do I apply? Yes. Please get in touch with us to explain why you need a scholarship (please use the CONTACT form at the bottom of the web page).
I’m not sure where my friends/family are in their spiritual journey. Will this conference have a heavy Christian emphasis? This weekend will have a spiritual emphasis, but not so much so that people who may not have a relationship with God would be uncomfortable. There will be plenty of great, relevant information for people at every stage of their spiritual journey. Our speakers will bring humor as well as great information to help every individual feel empowered to improve their relationship.
Will RYM be all lectures, or will there be time to interact with my spouse? In addition to excellent teaching, the weekend format will allow for interaction with your spouse and others.
How do I register? On our website, click REGISTER and follow the instructions. You may also register by phone by calling (800) 397-9725.
Will it still be beneficial to attend if I can only attend on Saturday? Yes, the Saturday sessions will be informative and do not require you to have heard Friday’s content. However, we do not have pricing for Saturday only.
Are there group rates? Our only group pricing is for church groups. However, if you have a group of 5 or more couples, please contact us via the website, and we will discuss some options with you.
Will you be offering a Spanish translation of this event? We are working on this option, but it is currently unavailable.
Will RYM be beneficial to me if my spouse won’t attend? Yes, there will be things that will help you improve as an individual and in the long run, will also help your marriage.
Will childcare be available? Yes, we are able to provide childcare for this event.
Is this conference for marriages in trouble or for couples who want to improve a good marriage? Both! There will be couples in attendance on the brink of divorce, and also couples who are just looking for ways to keep a solid forward momentum in their relationship. Most marriages are at least a bit high maintenance. The content is geared to improving a decent marriage and giving hope to troubled ones. Whoever comes will walk away inspired, hope-filled, and with some new tools to improve their marriage.
What if I attended this event last year? Will it be the same? No. Although we will have the same presenters as last year’s event, there is brand new content being developed for this year’s event (and every year). On top of that, there will be completely new programming.
Are lodging and meals included in the price? No, the cost does not include accommodation and food. We strive to make RYM as affordable as possible and will include water, coffee, and light snacks in the registration fee. We will also have for-purchase meal options available either at the venue or very close by.
Thank you for reaching out—your message has been received, and our Refreshing Your Marriage team will be in touch with you soon!
